Press Release Summary: This past week Sterling Management held a communications
workshop for business owners and their employees. Here are some of the successes
shared by a few of the participants.

Press Release Body: Getting Things Done Successes

Wow! This course was amazing. I was able to look at ways of using my intention and
getting things done that I'd never thought of before.
I have always been someone who "wants to be nice" - so in the past I would fail to
get others to get things done and just do it myself - OR I would get frustrated and
use too much force. Now I feel I can just apply the correct intention to push a
cycle through. I was also able to see how I had created problems. I feel confident
in my ability to control others and finish cycles of action. -

I have benefited from this course by understanding how to effectively complete
cycles of action and how to gain control to get others to complete cycles of action.
Also, a much greater understanding of how important acknowledgments are in getting
cycles of actions completed. -

From How to Get Things Done Course I have learned the importance of the
acknowledgments and that intention is senior over effort. When I go back to the
office I will be much more comfortable giving acknowledgments and will be keen on
the intention I infer with orders. -

The biggest thing I have learned is to have intention. With proper intention you
can run your business and have a successful family. A big thanks to Carolina.

I have learned that I need to be stronger with my intent when I am giving orders or
addressing a group of people. The skills I have learned will help me at my staff
meetings and help when I am giving orders to my staff and clients. Thanks Carolina.

Improving Business Through Communication

By doing these drills I have a much better understanding of the process of the cycle
of communication. These drills will help me to better communicate with family,
friends, co-workers and clients. The biggest thing I got out of this course is the
attention (focus) you must put on the person you are trying to communicate with.

Improving Business Through Communication has given me some invaluable tools to
control communication. I will be able to start, change and stop communication so
that whomever I talk with will be as comfortable in their conversation as I will be.
Nothing is an obstruction to communication now. I can handle any situation that
arises in my life

In the Business Communication Course, I've learned the tools of good communication;
attention; intention and distance. I learned how to deal with upsets in
conversation and how to smooth them over. I also learned how to deal with the silent
person. All of the communication tools will help me in maintaining communication
with employees and clients while being efficient with my time. -

I believe that I now have a greater ability to direct communication flow that will
enhance my ability to interact with family, clients and staff.

There is no easy way to say how many successes there will be. To be able to
communicate better at the office and at home or wherever is invaluable. Everyone
should take this course to save their business along with their marriage.
